Step one

Parent-guide Self-Assessment

A parent-guided self-assessment kit keep tracks of children's levels of anxiety, fear, avoidance and spider-related beliefs on a scale from 0 to 10.

Step two

QR Code

The QR code inside the playset allows children to simply access the e-book by scanning it via iPad or other tablets.

Step Three

E-book

The e-book itself contains activity videos following its storyline. The present box button on the right top corner will indicate when to do the correct activities!

Step Four

Three Activities

Guide videos asks children if they are ready to encounter Coco, or else they will ask children to stop if they are not feeling okay with this play.

How to choose the correct stage

Three Stages

Playset's stages and episodes will be determined based on the parent-guide self-assessment result.

First Stage

Users will focus on becoming familiar with a spider character, Coco, and learning spiders are not aggressive insects while in their house, the spider web.

Second Stage

Stakeholders will work on achieving a goal, encountering more numbers of spiders at once.

Third Stage

Children will finally face realistic-looking spiders to be ready for meet real spiders in reality.
